With the introduction of the Home Information Pack (HIPs) we have seen an increasing demand for Electrical and Gas inspections on properties, whether it’s for a home or for a buy-to-let.
Home owners are getting the reassurance of objective inspections from The Power Service, knowing they can rely on the quality of our independent inspectors with a wealth of experience in our field. Our fully qualified engineers can carry out inspections and provide reports to Corgi and the NICEIC standards.

Home Information Pack Regulations are now withdrawn
Home information Packs were withdrawn by the government with effect from 21st May 2010. The requirement for Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) is to continue as part of our committment to reducing carbon emissions under european legislation. EPCs for house sales are now valid for 10 years, bringing them into line with EPCs for residential lettings.
